MEP Site Engineer Job Desciption JD:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive MEP Site Engineer to oversee the installation, execution, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing works at our project sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, field supervision experience, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and execute MEP installations as per approved drawings and project specifications.
Coordinate with civil, structural, and finishing teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP services.
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Review and verify MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors for inspections and approvals.
Manage and lead MEP subcontractors to ensure timely progress and resource optimization.
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of daily site progress and issues.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to site challenges in coordination with design and project teams.
Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to the project manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
2–6 years of experience in MEP site execution within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of fire fighting, electrical and plumbing systems.
Familiarity with project drawings, technical standards, and site procedures.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and manage site teams effectively.
