Sales Executive / Business Development Executive – Field Sales Job Description JD:
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities through direct client visits, field sales activities, and relationship building. This role focuses on promoting products/services, generating leads and closing deals to meet revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field visits to prospective clients across assigned regions or territories.
Identify new business opportunities by researching potential customers and market trends.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, site visits and client referrals.
Present company products/services and provide technical or commercial information as needed.
Follow up on leads, submit proposals/quotations, and negotiate deals to closure.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Prepare daily visit reports and update CRM/sales tracking systems.
Gather market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, and customer preferences.
Coordinate with internal departments (technical, logistics, finance) to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in field sales or business development (B2C preferred).
Strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of the local market and customer behavior.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Basic knowledge of sales software, CRM tools, and MS Office.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
